I just bought the software and I started running it. Is the screen supposed to be that small? When I run a game, it doesnt even take up 320x320. Its pretty small, is it supposed to be like that?

Yes.
If you wonder why - you can't compare TVset image and real pixels. Their centimeters (inches) are different :)
