OK, I got the NX apps (Datebook, Memo Pad, TODO List and Address) loaded on my NR70. I used Jacksprat/JackFlash to backup the ROM and those NR apps individually and flashed in the NX apps. Everything works great. :)

I was wondering if the NX Audio Player will work as a replacement for the NR Audio Player.

Has anyone tried this and did it work? If it did work, what Audio Player Skin will I need to use or will the NR Audio Player skin work.

TIA for your help and replies.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't work but I could be wrong. I believe the NX one is written for the arm processor while the NR one is written for the DSP chip that's built in. The Dragonball processor doesn't do any of the mp3 decoding on the NR, it is strictly done by the DSP.

I would confirm that it doesnt work. I tried it on my nr clie and the whole audio player crashed. Dont try it.

Thanks for all the replies. I won't try it since others have not been successful.

RJH MUSIC:

You will need both Jacksprat (the no-stub version) and Jackflash to completely replace the NR Address, Datebook, Memo Pad and ToDo list apps with the NX ones.

I got most of my information from this post:

So you may find it useful also.

Good luck.
