Hey guys (and gals),
I noticed a problem this morning. When I hotsynced, I got a hotsync error. I checked the logs and this is what I saw:

HotSync operation started 02/06/03 07:56:58
OK Date Book
OK Address Book
-- To Do List
- Some PC records were not copied to the handheld. Your handheld may be full. To correct this situation, delete some records and perform a HotSync operation again.
Desktop = 6, Handheld = 1
To Do List synchronization failed
OK Memo Pad
-- Backing up db psysLaunchDB to file C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\ReyesM\Backup\psysLaunchDB.PDB
-- Backing up db Saved Preferences to file C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\ReyesM\Backup\Saved_Preferences.PRC
OK System
HotSync operation complete 02/06/03 07:57:02

I only have 6 things in my todo list and I have 5 megs of space to spare. It was a routine hotsync, I didn't change anything big yesterday. help me =D

Hello

I had a similar problem. I could not sync my to do list. I use intellisync. Unfortunately the only way to clear it up was a complete cold boot and reinstall of everything!

Perhaps this was not the best way to do it, but it is the way I did. I believe it was one of the apps I had installed, but did not have the patience to try to find it.

Sorry

I currently am having the same problem. However, I am not getting any error messages in the sync log, just an error in the actual process: "unable to syncronize to do list." Because of the Netfront install memory requirement, I really do not want to reinstall everything. ANY IDEASA???

I had the same problem, and linked it the application PowerDA. After removing the application, and performing a cold reset the problem went away. Re-installing the app caused the problem again.

I found "powerDA" is make tdTO2 everytime i use DA application. That file make me can't hotsync todolist. I solve problem by use McFile delete it. However, when I change to DA Launcher I have not that problem anymore.

I had exactly the same problem. I never found out what caused it, but I suspect that I had changed the same items in the calendar on the desktop and on the handheld before a hot sync.

I tried a million different things to fix it, but eventually had to do a hard reset and reinstall of everything. Haven't had the problem since.

Hi,

Very sorry about this problem! It hadn't come up in testing. I've fixed it in the latest version.

The program Power DA is causing the todo list to create a file called

tdTO2

To fix this problem download the lates version of powerda and delete the above file and there will be no more problems.

That's what worked for me.

Hope this helps.

Chelton25: I'll release a quick update that will automatically delete the old tdTO2 when you install the new version. I've also added the "Custom" option to the launching method in the latest version.

I've had the same problem for 2 days. Reinstalled desktop & everything I else I could think of save a hard reset. Finally found a file named "tdNM". Moved it to MS & everything now works ok. I don't know which program put it there, but it might be worth a try to find & move any files beginning with "td".

Oh yeah I had this happen before and with some research and the help of people here in cliesoure we narrowed down the problem to one app (in my case, and a few others) to be the one creating this mess it's NX Movie Aide, thjis is the prog that created thet todo file, I don't remeber the exact name, but it is probably similar to the one created by the program mentioned above.

I had the same problem 1 time. Then it stopped. I didn't have any of the programs mentioned here, so I don't know what it was....

Thanks, BERN

I had just installed NX Movie Aide a few days ago. Probably was guilty of my problems (see above). Needless to say their trial on my NX are over.

The trial should be extended for 5 days if you download the new version.
