It looks like a new version of PocketTV Browser is available, although there may be a kinks to work out. The listings will now be coming from Evolve Communications, the makers of Guide Remote. For more info, follow the link below to the announcement by Jeff on the PocketTV forum.

However, I believe that some people are having problems downloading from SSTV. Myself included.

Seems to be working fine for me. I used the freeware account I had been using with the free version of SSTV. PTVB isn't quite as great as it was (because of limitations of the listing provider), but it's still much better than any other TV Listings app I have tried.

I'm using the freeware SSTV user that I had setup before I had even discovered PTVB. I can login to the SSTV site with no problem, but I can't get any data with PTVB v1.60 yet.

Update: PTVB v1.60 B5 is online now, and seems to be working for me.

"I think I've found the problem with some people getting "Warning: no channels found". There was some variability in the data being returned that I had to account for.

Here are links to the Palm and Pocket PC installation programs. These are the same links as in the 1.60 announcement, I've just overwritten the previous build (build 04) with a newer one (build 05). You can just install it on top of your current copy.

I haven't been able to address the TVGL compatibility issue yet. That will hopefully happen tomorrow, and I will probably bump the version number to 1.61 at that point.

Thanks,
Jeff"

It's working great for me! I missed my Pocket TV Browser. :)
The download was FAST, too. I got the same message (wait up to 15 minutes), and the progress indicator didn't show any progress... but it grabbed 7 days faster than it ever did anything before.
