Looking at my 2 months old NX70V, I noticed the whole thing is covered with a later of dirt. --> which made the NX slightly darker.
Anyone else have the same problem? It's like a rusted metal.. but this is not rust.. it's like a car that's dirty.
Currently, my solution is by using an eraser and rub the dirt off. Anyone got a better 'cleaner'?

Melvin,
I wouldn't use anything harsh on it or it may remove the paint. You might try some mild soap and a very soft brush. Then pad the area dry without getting any liquid inside your unit. The magnesium cover is only painted plastic. An eraser will leave behind debris.

It's full with debris, and eraser did the job well.
Mild soap and brush.. hmm, it still sounds dangerous to me.

Paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol.
Eraser is very abrasive and you're removing paint.

Melvin, you might want to use a wet towel and spray a little Windex on it to dilute the solution. Give it a soft rub. That should work and it's non-abrassive. Works for me anyway. Good luck!

This may sound strange, but I used a "kid wipe", you know, the toilet variety (for those in the know with small children) and it worked great. Very gentle with no effect on the finish, but enough soap to clean the smudges.

It also helps to wash your hands frequently. ;)
