Does anyone know if Opera have plans to port their neat new Small Screen Rendering to PalmOS ... would be just great on my NR70V

I've had a look at what it does to various sites (If you go to http://www.rufan-redi.com/com.php?product=opera and grab Opera7 you can press Shift-F11 and it will re-render as though you were on one of their small screen variants)

I think it would really wake up the PalmOS browser market for the leader on the Symbian platform came to play. Xiino is okay, TapLiner could be great etc but Opera have a damn good platform

I was just looking at NewsMonster.org, and thought the same thing. The integration from Mozilla to my Clie would be sa-weet...

I am running Opera 7 right now, its my favorite browser, didn't know I could do that. You learn something everyday, thanks for telling us about it. Also I would love to have Opera on my Clie.

Quote from their site:

At Opera our ultimate goal is to provide the best Internet experience for all, regardless of device, operating system, languages or accessibility needs. And to reach this goal, we have developed a wide a range of different features, such as zooming, mouse gestures, keyboards shortcuts, and full-screen reader, making Opera the most user-friendly browser regardless of impairment.

Maybe a couple of us should email them inquiring about the possibility of them porting Opera to the Palm OS...I already did!

I really like Opera, especially 7, but sometimes have to resort to IE just for the MS DHTML Edit control :-( If only Opera would add that, it would be a total replacement.....
