Charger question???????

Just wondering how many of you always leave your charger plugged in all the time (PEGA-AC10). Somewhere I heard that leaving a charger plugged in 24/7 can damage the charger. Anybody have any info on this? I guess I just don't want to damage the charger but it is a hassle unplugging it all the time. Thanks for your input!!! Doug:)

I've never heard of anyone that DOESN'T leave their charger plugged in all the time... ( I do unplug my car charger <smile>)

I would think that the plugging/unplugging would have more of an effect on it that just leaving it plugged in.

Well, i've had my notebook charger plugged in some days without having the notebook plugged in. One day I came home and the LED was off. Tested it, nothing. Tested it some days later, nothing. Had to buy a new one.
You'd rather have it unplugged when it's not connected to your PDA. That's my experience..

My clie charger don't even get warm when it is not charging. I leave it plugged in most of the time until I need the AC socket for something else. I guess adaptors that don't get warm when not charging could be plugged in all the time without damaging it.
