Can you guys post reviews of this phone. I just got it for Bluetooth with my UX50 and one of my buddies was giving me crap saying that the phone was horrible.
Any reviews would be appreciated.
Thanks

This is what I think of the T610
The response time is poor on the phone, although still faster than T68 and T68i. But personally, I still find it unacceptable, I traded it in within a week. It takes like 4-5 secondes to load up the dialed list or phone book...
other than that, it is nice phone well equipped with features.

well, i now own a t616, which essentially is the same phone as t610
and i have to say it's the best phone i've ever own. of course the screen could be a lot brighter, but nevertheless, it's one of the most featured, and intuitive phone i've ever used. and if you want to talk about speed...it burns my sorry moto t720's butt....
and i hated all my other nokia phones in the past

I have the T616 (same phone, but with AT&T), and I love it. I had the T68>T68i>T616, and I find it a great evolution of the model line.
I do somewhat agree with waynema, in that there is some delay between menus, but it's certainly not bad, and I have not experienced 4-5 second delays with anything, except loading a java game of mini-golf.
The camera is terrific for what it is. I like being able to immediately bluetooth/email/IR the photo. The resolution isn't great, but it sure is handy, and the pics are not bad by any stretch of the imagination.
The screen is 1000% times better than the T68i, and the themes are much better.
Sound quality is also better than the T68i, and it is about the same reception-wise as the T68i. Even though I still only get 2 bars at my house, I can get mMode. I could never connect to mMode (internet) with the T68i from home.
The bluetooth is seamless, and I was connected with my U-50 on 1st attempt. ?I even found a guy on th train that sits in the same car with a T610, and we play network (via Bluetooth) mini-golf on the commuter rail. (Wow, that sounds geeky) :D
I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5...

bimboy, i have t616 from at&t as well. mMode actually has nothing to do with how many bars you have on the phone...the bars is relevant to voice calls. to see whether you have mMode, it's the blue triangle right on top of the bars. If its a sold blue triangle, that mean there's mMode.
another thing i like about the t616 is its ability to hold a weak signal. with the moto t720, there's no way i can make voice calls at home, but at t616, even if there's no signal bars at all, i can still have hours of conversation on the t616. it's an excellent phone!

I have a T610 and really like it. I dont have the same problems that others have, so not sure what is up. The BT works great, and have service with TMobile, no problems. Its a great small phone.

It's a great phone with 1 bug. The call list will go haywire if you switch from sim card A to sim card B and then back to sim card A. I use it with my G4 17" when I don't receive wifi signal.

We have a review of the T616 over at black halo inc. Also show how to sync the contacts from the CLIE to the phone too. T616 is very similar to the T610.

t616 and T610 are the same except for the operation frequency.
the T610 is best for europe and the T616 was made to work better in the US

T610 is better for connecting with clie's. just got a ux50, a t610, and a BT headset the other day and played around with it for 2 days. configured everything for my dad (im so jealous :) )
anyway the t610 is SLOOOW. there's even a lag while typing in SMS. that doesnt matter though because i use the UX to send SMS. the camera too just plain sucks. having been used to the N3650 the pics are just unacceptable. it would be unfair to compare the two anyway. the t610's camera is more of a match for nokia's 7250.
i especially liked way you could send your whole phonebook via bluetooth. i did that to send all the contacts in the sim to the ux. it only took a couple of minutes. for nokia youd have to send them one by one.
anyway everythings all set for my dad now and im back to my TG50/nokia3650 combo. the only downside is the inability of the clie to retrieve messages from the 3650. other than that, its way way better than the t610 if the bigger size and circular keypad doesnt bother you. the bigger memory (especially with a 128MB MMC) and VGA camera are the 3650s most obvious advantages. but if SMS is more important to you then the T610 is the way to go.

...and after reading this, I tried to send my entire phonebook from my T616 to my UX-50 via bluetooth, and it added everybody to my address book in about 2 seconds! Sweet! No additional formatting needed!

I had the t610 for a few days.. IMHO it's junk. The display is awful. The phone is "sluggish". The battery life is not as good as my SE P800. Than again.. I hated the T68i as well ;)

I have a NR70v at the mo with a bluetooth memorystick. I have just bought the T610 but have not been able to get the two devices to talk.
How do you all do it?
Love the T616, hate the ATT data rate price. While my TMobile friends do not have the coverage (T616 seems to reach out further than the T68i did) of towers ATT does, they do not have to watch the amount of data they are moving with their far less expensive unlimited plan.

Dude, it was like a pain in the a$$ for me to figure out how to do it. Misadventure after misadventure just because I was too lazy to key in each contact and phone number on the phone. I just HAD to find out how to sync the CLIE contacts to the phone. Glad you found our review useful =)
