The switch was for the wifi and the size. I'm in the military and having the NZ making a huge bulge in my pocket was unsat.

I haven't really gotten to see one in person, but I'm sure that it'll be nice to have.

My guess is you're gonna love the UX. I love mine, but it took a week long learning curve to get proficient and comfortable with everything it can do. Currently I'm transferring a movie to the UX. The only thing I haven't done yet. I can WiFi connect to my PC to transfer files using SmbMate (download from internet). I can WiFi HotSync, surf the net, get e-mail. I've copied music CD's and used it as an MP3 player. Is there anything this little gem can't do?? I love it.

I did the EXACT same thing and absolutely "LOVE" the decision I made for many of the same reasons as you. While the NZ is a great unit on its own merits, for my needs, the UX absolutely BLOWS the NZ away!

Now I carry it everywhere (as where before it sat in the cradle too often due to it's heft and size). The keyboard is supurb and the combined Bluetooth and WiFi sing! I surf with WiFi at home and away, and use the Bluetooth connection to hook up with my GPRS service on my SonyEricsson T610!

You'll be VERY happy I suspect...

Have a Clie Day! :p

I did the same switch, I like my UX the most of any PDA I've ever had. It's nice for me with the UX being so tiny compared to the NZ for a change.
