Hi,

I just got an NX and I'm using it with a Mac. So naturally I got Missing Sync after trying unsuccessfully to work or even sync.

With Missing Sync I finally managed to sync and install programs. The only thing I can't do is when I tried to mount the memory stick

From reading the Missing Sync PDF file, I found out that I need "MS import.prc" from the Clie CD but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Most of the stuff on the CD are .exe files.

So can anybody please email a copy of the latest "MS import.prc" file?

Thank you so much!!

ms import is included in the clie out of the box. you still have it one there because it is in rom and can't be deleted (until brayder updates their programs for os 5)

the old instructions about getting it off the cd were for the old nr series and a couple of other older series that needed them to be installed.

Ok thanks for the reply....

I thought I needed to find that file.

So why is it I cannot mount my memory stick? I'm running OS 9.1 and Palm desktop 2.6.3, Missing Sync 2.2.2b

that is a good question.

i know the version of missing sync you are using is a beta, so that may be it. however, i never had a problem using missing sync and os 9.2, so that would probably not be it.

the only real suggestion i have is to shut down the mac, make sure the cradle is connected and restart your mac, rebuild the desktop, then with the clie in the cradle start ms import (praying never hurt at this point).

if that doesn't work it will probably require uninstalling the missing sync program and reinstalling the latest non beta version. it would also help to make sure your mac os was updated to the absolute latest it can be.

Yes, I guess restarting and reinstalling might be the way to go...untill the final version of Missing Sync 2.2.2 comes out.

Thanks for the help!
