Well I was having problems with my UX50 hotsyncing to 3 different computer. Sony support, no help. So I got an RMA form eCost and ordered an NZ90.
Well....I got an email last night from some guy calling himself "PDAEXPERT".
His instructions were to connect to the PC while having the hotsync manager running, hit the reset button while holding the power on key up. While holding the power key put the Clie back in the charger. Then release the power button. This is an in cradle hard reset.
IT F****** WORKED!!! The only problem now is I have an NZ90, brand new with extra battery that I don't need! If I return it to eCost I'll be slapped with a 15% restock fee. What to do what to do?
Suggestions?

Yes, generally when ticked off. The bad part is I had to do this with a Handspring Prism once. Don't know why I didn't think of it.

Sell your NZ90 on ebay as fast as possible.

I actually had an NZ-90 and I kept telling myelf I'd sell it when I got the UX-50... I still really love the 90 for surfing and email, plus it's a better camera. On top of that, I have the Eruware Compact Flash driver installed so I get tonnes of storage. I'm thinking about keeping it, but I don't know this little UX 50 is so sweet. Who knows.

But the build quality on the UX-50 feels cheaper... which is annoying given that I paid the same for both of them... The NZ just feels more rugged. I wish they'd do the GPS solution for the NZ and then I'd have a good reason to keep the 90. Can you say full time on board computer!!!
