Hi all,

Have you ever forgotten your Clie and left it sitting on the cradle at home? I did that today. When I got to my office it was not there! It might sounds strange but I felt, for a few seconds, a sense of emptiness. I felt like my life stopped for a moment; I didn't know what to do next. I couldn't schedule anything or look
up anything. Pretty Panthetic...

Perhaps Sony had placed a spell on all Clies....
Or perhaps my NX knows it is getting a case and bag tomorrow so wanted to stay home and wait for them.....
Sorry....long day...

Even more pathetic is the fact that I've done exactly that a few times and driven 40 minutes round trip to get it because I didn't want to be without it all day!!

I've turned around to pick it up if I left it at work or home.

The real empty feeling came when it was really gone...lost.

Well, I guess I could have driven home but not in this weather! That is alright, I am back to the pen and paper scheduling for today.

I don't even go next door or to the pool in summer without it, excpet on VERY rare occassions.

I feel really lost without it and have found that I need it most every where so I bought a Vaja case with the clip that you don't need a belt for and now I'm a happy camper!!:)

That used to happen to me, I had it surgically implanted, and now we are very happy together.

No but eight years ago I forgot my HP 100LX. After other employees showed up to man the store, I went home and retrieved it.

Monday I grabbed my old Visor Deluxe and scrambled out the door to catch a ferry. Only after I was safe in line for my 6am sailing did I relize my error.

Imagine the horror when i discovered that for the next 50 minutes plus another 45 during the afteroon wait in line that I would have to stare at the dismal gray of the visor.

The upside ? I was able to read some article from Wired news that I had missed...... back on December 30, the day my NX70 arrived.

Just this morning - I was in a complete panic because I thought I left it home. I ripped my briefcase apart and found it - phew!

My biggest fear is leaving it home duing a business trip. This coming Sunday, I go away for 1 1/2 weeks. If I forget my Clie, I will never forgive myself....

He-he, when you get to my old age, you first have to remember that you even had one, before you can realize that you forgot it:D!

i bought this pocket galore American Eagle jacket, enough pockets for my Clie, headphones, sony memory sticks case, cell phone etc, even in the warm temperature inside the mall, i dont take off my jacket for fear that i would lose it somewhere ... i cant live a day without my Clie.

I used to have my cell phone on my belt, now the CLIE is there, in a very nice Bellagio case. Cell phone is on the inside jacket pocket right now, WHAT am I going to do when summer comes?

i've forgotten mine at home when i've put it in its cradle at night to charge, then left without it in the morning. i've fixed that by leaving my car keys next to my clie so i will absolutely see it in the morning before i leave for work...

forgetting it is the worst feeling - all i do all day is think of things i would do with it if i had it with me. maybe the formation of a clie addicts club is in order - perhaps "clie addicts anonymous"? i'd volunteer to be the first member:

hi, my name is marianne and i have been a clie addict for 2 years...

Hi, my name is Mike, and I too am an addict. It started with the NR70V. I was using an HP Jornada at the time, you know, just for kicks. I mostly used it to download porn clips to (oh, like you haven't!) to show off to my grey-scale palm friends. The color was grainy, the sound tinny, but it was color, right? So for father's day last year, I'm looking for a laptop from the wife, and she hands me this clie...I'm thinking "wtf???" Little did I know...it took over my life. The screen...the colors...the built in camera...soon, I was using it for everything from work to play! Taking pics of my daughter, syncing my e-mail, listening to mp3s...glorious!! Then came that fateful day...(sob) I'm sorry, I need a moment to compose myself...

One day, while wrestling my daughter into her carseat (sob), I inadvertently set it on top of my truck to have two free hands. It was just for a second...

But then I drove off and forgot it was there. The next morning I woke up looking for it, couldn't remember where it was (sob). All of a sudden, the evenings events came rushing back and I almost fainted (ok, I did faint)!! I went tearing thru the house to the garage, hoping against hope that it was still on the top...but alas, it was not to be. I posted rewards with pictures of the clie...nothing. I contacted the milk council to see if they would put it on there cartons; they told me to stop calling and leave them alone. I tried going back to my Hp...but oh God, it just wasn' t the same!!! I was lost. I felt empty inside. So empty... The next day, the NX70v's came out. I ran out and grabbed the first one on the shelf. Wireless, video...oh mama!!!
