3D Rendered Racing Game

There is a pretty cool 3D rendered game called GTS Challenge in the beta stage (almost finished, though). You can sign up for the beta testing at the Astraware's community center, or you can wait a little bit further because it's going to be released soon.

I'm really looking toware to this because this is really pusing the PalmOS engine to the edge (just like the 3D first person shooting game).

Oh, and no more BETA testing on Astraware's site, until you sign legal documents and send pictures in to them. It's on the BETA forum. :(

Yes, of course it is! I think it may support OS's before that as well.

I thought people were not supposed to put beta information out like this and is the reason why we now have to sign agreements.

The agreements don't take effect until next month. Until then, it's basically still an open beta...

I got a beta version from a friend and I must say it's one of the best palm games I ever played. Unfortunatelly the beta test period of the version I got seems to be over, because the game is not playable any more.
The graphics are much more simple than in MasterThief3D, but the high framerate makes them look very good.
The controls and the driving physique are really fantastic, you can even drift though a curve and hear the tyres.
At first I thought that there are too less tracks, but when you switch to a higher difficulty mode the tracks become more complex (and more unplayable *g* in extreme mode).
I hope the final version will offer different cars in every class, because when you for example choose the sports car, all the other cars in a race only differ in their color, but that's not so important.
The sound is also great. I usually turn the sound of, if a game uses the standart palm sound, but GTS couldn't sound better!

That is not how I understood their position. And this here is why we are now having to sign contracts.

If warez or not, everyone should BUY this game to support the author. The game is so great that you should even donate him some bucks :-)

If it is IN beta now, its not supposed to be published unless the games author agrees to have something published. If the game is NOT in beta...that it STILL should not be published. So either way, this thread should really not even be there. Im sure there was no bad intention in posting it, im just sharing how it all works.
