I am new to the NX scene as well. What I do know is that there are third party applications that permit you to make your entire screen have a picture, say... of your mom. You convert her .jpg image using the instructions provided by the programmers, and presto, you get a background - the actual steps for this is beyond my skill, and I briefly read them over for the new Agendus launcher and it is not too difficult. thanks Kidfixer, I have figured out what they are but I for soem reason cant make them come on my Clie. I downloaded a few from ClieSource files but they will not play on my Clie. Any suggestions?

Try getting a copy of Photoskin. This is pretty cheap and should do what you need it to do...

In the text area on top left of the page, type in Photoskin, and click the "search" bottom. You'll see it.

Skins are the customized themes made for a specific type of program called "launcher", which changes the way you organize your palm softwares and the look of your palm, and usually they add some handy functions to improve the usability of the desktop of your palm.

There are lots of launcher programs supports the changing of skins. Such as Silverscreen, Facer, ZLauncher, YiShow, Mega Launcher..... you can find them in www.palmgear.com as well.

And finally, I do suggest you be more patient, no one here is obligated to answer any of the questions or posts after all.

I don't use skins anymore. There is already several threads started in this forum and they do discuss making one's own skins.

There is a program called NXSkinGen which is useful since you own an NX. Howerver I have not tried it, so I'm not sure how customizable the skins you create would be.
