Please help, I cannot get my avantgo or my palm reader to work in fullscreen.

How can I get these to work in full screen?
I hate the graffiti area in the way and would love to read a book without it being in the way.

Please help if possible, I know this has been asked , I would like some info from the pro's on here.

THXS,
Kevin

AvantGo does not support full screen on the ux50.
Actually, it does not work well at all on the ux50... yet...

If you use a program called CodeDiver you can get AvantGo to work in UX widescreen mode...

The settings I used are SizeChg:Set, StartedSize: Long, StopedSize: Long and the rest default

Has anyone else been able to get AvantGo to go landscape with CodeDiver? I installed the program but it did not work.

It works on my unit but not in full screen. It seems to just put the scroll bars on without the need to do the options server preferences no change trick. And will only work if you launch avantgo from codedriver.

You did download the beta version of code diver right? Also make sure you are using the OS5 version of avantgo... I also think when I was setting it up, it did not work if certain settings were enabled (I believe force does not work with AG along with other options)

I hope that helps,
Geoff

Hay gzub, thanks I didn't see the beta version the first time around. Works great now.

My initial try at Palmreader was bad...not full width, cut off 3-4 lines of each screen. I deleted old version from UX, downloaded latest version of Palmreader, reloaded, rebooted etc, and it worked. Still not as ergonomically friendly as my old T615, but certainly cooler.
