Recently my nr70v battery charges had dwendled to a meer 15-30 minutes, therefore I changed out the battery. I expected this to go fairly easily as the instructions were very simple (and I didn't have a service center in my area and warrenty is out of the window.)
1. the instructions on the battery change itself were very straight forward and easy to follow.
2. what happened afterward was (and IS) disappointing....
I set my newly-changed-battery Clie in its charging cradle (instructions said to charge for 3 hours...) and walked away leaving its "palm powered" logo to hide its charging activities. However, 6 hours later, the same logo is smiling at me and the charging light is off... and nothing I have tried so far has changed this fact. In fact I can't turn the machine OFF! and the hold switch is not a factor... any ideas? Please???
