Good paint program

Does anybody know a good paint program? I've tried TealPaint, but get this problem where the image distorts when I change pens (anybody else get that?) so it is practically useless. I've also got a problem with CliePaint in that it doesn't have a fill function (am I missing it?). What do you recommend? (PS - before you say it I've already tried MemoRu too, but it lacks features (spraycan etc. - am I missing these again?!).
