hotsynch problem.

My N610c INSTALL works fine to move picture gear pix to HH from PC...but hot synch of datebook, memopad, addressbook etc. seems to work from HH to PC but puts new HH entries into datebook.bak not datebook.dat so then they do not appear in the desktop. Desktop entries just disappear; do not show up on HH. I had Palm M100 installed before; but have uninstalled and re-installed several times with same results. Also installed DT 4.01 from Sony website (cliepd401.exe). Think the problem is in the USB cradle? Or with the install? Could I try renameing datebook.bak to datebook.dat ? Following is BB log...
