The biggest complaint I here from people on this Forum is that they forget to log in. I also found this very annoying having to log in every time I came to this site.
The Fix for this is!!!! :D

No, that's not the issue. The issue is being bounced out after being logged in. Last week was absolutely terrible with being logged out every few minutes. It seems to be fixed now and it' been pretty good since the weekend. The one time this week where I did have difficulty, it was due to my ISP.

If I am using IE I usually have to log in for every visit, but with Mozilla Firebird I have it remember my password so all I have to do is type go when I get to the log in screen. It would be nice if I stayed logged in like I do at most other sites though.

I've never had to log-in but once. I use Opera now, but even when I used IE, I never had any problems. Do you guys have utilities installed to wipe your cookies? I'm not paranoid, so I just leave all my cookies alone and all the web sites I go to (execpt Yahoo!) keep my settings fine.

Hello Cameron!
I had the problem last week only, this week it's fine? I haven't done anything different, except complain, now it's all better. One of the great mysteries of life... :D

I never have any problems either. You have to allow cookies in order to stay logged in.

I just wish there was some way to edit a post if I forgot to log in.
Sometimes I only have time to reply to the ones that are in my e-mail, and if I click the thread link, read the post and reply, for some reason, when I type the username and password in the fields for my reply, when it actually posts, it shows the username, then under registered it says 'not yet'!!
Any ideas? Am I alone here?

We're on a 'public' terminal here, and we all try to delete the cookies regularly to maintain privacy (big brother, ya know) but that probably has alot to do with my problem, I agree. Thanks alot anyway, I'll just have to be more careful if I want to make sure I'm identified.

I swear, if I hear one more person say to leave the cookies on, I am going to scream!!!!:D
The ONLY difference between last week and this week, is that I stay logged in! I have not touched a thing or made any changes, cookies or otherwise!
I may be dumb, but not stupid!

Hmm, I've never had problems with this... One way you can easily checked whether you're logged in before posting (say you didn't go directly to the main page, so you had no idea you weren't logged in) is to look down at the bottom of the page where it says "Forum Rules:"
If it says:
You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may post attachments
You may edit your posts
The you're logged in.
If it says:
You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may not post attachments
You may not edit your posts
Then you're not logged in.
Notice the 2 not's when you're not logged in. If you do this before clicking the "Submit Reply" button, you can be sure that you are logged in. (Unless of course your permissions are different).
