The bus routes I want on my pda are actually torrance public transportation, the url is
http://www.ci.torrance.ca.us/city/dept/transit/index.html

however, I was going to make a little spreadsheet in excel for the few different routes, it occured to me if I was reinventing the wheel. I was wondering if there is some type of public transportation guide for the Los Angeles area, specifically around LAX. I use Metro, but that just tells me how to get from point of interest A to point of interest B, which is great and I love it.... But I also just want to see what routes (assuming I know what bus I want) runs at what time going in what direction, the stops along the way, etc....

And if someone does know of an app like this for LA area, then I wonder if there is also a similiar one for Chicago....

Hmmm, I'm also currently teaching myself basic palm programming... perhaps I've found a niche =)

How about Tube?
Chicago (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=1&jid=6C25F5B3D6AD66748359F5FCBD43D6F8&productId=44316&optionId=1_1_2&productType=2&catalog=1&txtSearch=tube&sectionId=0&platformId=1)

The other thing I've done is simply find a public transportation map of the city I'm going to, and view it using AcidImage or FireViewer. Not elegant, but it does the trick.
