Being the Palm newbie that I am.. I'm getting use to alot of the idiosyncrasies of OS 5. Being a former PPC user I just went about my merry way dragging and dropping movies onto my PDA with sensible filenames that would give me a GOOD indication of what the heck i was about to view. southparkSOX.mpg as an example. Well I found out that it just doesn't work this way on Palm. I need to name it something like MOV00013.mpg. Now I'm looking at Clie' Viewer on my PDA and i'm wondering how the "F" do I know what is what?

This goes the same for the pictures (jpg's). Can i create different directories and seperate my pictures and name them something else besides so numbered scheme and still be able to view them?

Do i need to adopt the PALM mentality of dealing with files and the way OS5 handles them?

NXMovieAide allows you to change the names of the movie files for the built in movie player. If you use AcidImage or Resco you will be able to views pics in any directory on the MS.
