Hey. I have a TG50 and I was wondering about how MPEG1 movies worked on it. I have used IC hundreds of times to convert AVI and other to .MQV, but I dont understand how to watch MPEG1 on it. Do i just put my MPEG1's into a certain folder on my MS, or do you need to convert them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ends out, that doesnt work for me. what works is make a folder DCIM and inside make folder 101MSDCF. still, only half the movies i put in play. Worst part is, i cant even watch video takin with a sony digital camera.

Hi 1145climber
I believe you have a fairly new cybershot camera? New cybershots saves movies and photo's in 101MSDCF. Older Cybershots don't have folder management and will only create a folder called 100MSDCF. Your TG50 will only play MPEG1 saved in 100MSDCF folder.
Try creating a new folder called 100MSDCF and copy the MPEG1 into that directory.

A device called EyeTv for Mac outputs MPEG-1 files in Quicktime format, any idea whether with a name change to MOV00001.MPG the Clie to see/read such a file?
