the price you saw is probably the "refurbished" item price ;)

A week or so ago, it was $299.99 at Best Buy and CompUSA.
I bought an open box unit at Best Buy for 20% off or $239.99.
Also, Ecost had it for $269. for a while. You might want to check at Ecost.
