T665 won't Hotsynch?

Have a weird problem. The two green lamps (one on the cradel and one on the PDA) lights but for soem reason it can't synch. im beginnign to think its the connection betwwen the cradle and the PDA that is worn? MS Import does not work either?

Anyone experienced this?

OK OK I will buy a UX50, but this thing has to work in order for met o sell it! :)

Have you:

1. Checked to make sure the USB connection is secure?

2. Tried a soft reset of the Clie?

3. Reinstalled the Palm Desktop and Hotsync software?

It's usually one of these three things that cause syncing problems

Thanks, I did everything except reinstalling HotSynch. Ill try that too.

With checkign its secure you mean looking that they arre in place :D :confused:

I think my cradle is broken :( Since the hotsynch button does not initiate a synch but the syncj starts when I push the sunch button on the screen. Have to look into that.

Well, since your hotsync worked by using the on-screen button but doesn't work when pressing the cradle button then I'd agree there's something wrong with the cradle.

You can take apart the cradle and check the hotsync button connection. As I recall, it's just a push pluc connection so it's possible the connection has worked loose.

AAlthough it wont synch but the synch process will start on the palm but then "die".

Ilol have to open it up, but it must be the connection.
