Any iSilo books on pda news and such?

I was looking for some isilo books on pda news, tips, etc.

Nice library of iSilo sites. I'll definitely download that when I get home today.

Question - Do these sites include any graphics/pics in the iSilo translation? The few that I tried that were PDA friendly just had text. I really got tired of Avantgo for that reason. Occasionally there were pics in Avantgo but VERY low res crap. When I've tried to link other sites all I got in iSilo was a huge mess. I hope most of these sites from turcic will be better.

All the sites I've used from Turcic's list are text only (that's pretty typical for a "PDA" friendly site though).

Where I want to retain the graphics, I just go to the main site and load it into iSilo. This usually works all right if i keep the link depth to no more than 1.

I've loaded my company website in it's entirety, which is mostly graphics, it came in at 670k.

In some cases I've broken down the site into several iSilo docs, just to keep the link depth down, and it works fine.

When I link to a site with graphics, I use iSiloX to limit the size of the graphics to 100 pixels tall and 150 pixels wide. This keeps the overall size of the file down to a reasonable level, while still allowing the picture to be recognizeable.

And, when I link a graphics-intensive site, I send it directly to the memory stick.

Also, is there a weather site that translates well?

You need to use iSiloX for that. YOu can set up a task in you task manager that will update the iSilo docs for you. The instructions are on the website.
