Now here's any idea I thought of the other day, and wondered if any one else thought of this.

What if one of this these launcher in this launcher war could program a piece for some sound events? Not sound events like BEEP, but wave file sounds, or MIDI sounds? Like Windows has. I know that the Pocket PC have this option in there OS, but why not Palm OS 4.1 and higher with the enhanced sound. I know, I know this is not a Pocket PC, but would this be a good idea?

Like when you power the handheld up you can have a Start-up effect, or when you open a certain app, you can have a sound effect? Something to enhance these launchers or launcher.

Anyone else find this to be a good idea, and if so we should e-mail the vendors. :p

I keep my sound off all of the time. If you think about it it seems silly.

I keep my system sounds on, but use NoClick hack to suppress the annoying clicks.

I wish somebody would make a tech sounds hack that works on the NX. That beep was cute. (but you could turn it off . . . )
