I don't know about locking an app, but if you move it to a folder other than Launcher on the MS, it's not likely they'll find it. Or you could just leave it in the MS Launcher folder, and set the default laucher not to show MS . . . there are also apps that you can use to lock databases, etc.

Thank you for the advice Captainao. I'll try that until I can find an App that locks out programs.

There is another solution for this.. If the app is in ram and not rom, using MCFile, Filez, or any other memory manager, goto the properties on the PRC, and turn on the hidden bit.

Are you trying to lock PalmSutra? Just kidding :^) Fyi, you can also hide folders with LauncherX. Dont know about lock-out.

Beiks makes a product that allows you to specify what apps can and cannot be accessed. It's called Kidzone. Here's the link

Try PDA Defense. They offer the option to require a password to unlock an app. I made the error during my recent testing on the OS5 version. Works very well.

I moved up from a Palm 105 to my NX70V (What a shock it was!). Anyway, there were a few apps that works fine with the 105 though they cause various problems with my NX. I kept them on my NX because occasionally I need to beam them back to the 105 (which now acts as a pseudo Gameboy for my kid). Thanks for the tips. Helped me make them un-launchable in my NX.
