Is there an app to use that will adjust the clock on my CLIE to the same time as my desktop, each time I sync?

Thanks.

Try Timecopy. It's freeware and works great.

WorldMate atomic-clock syncs both PC and Palm whenever you HotSync. The daily update of The Weather Channel worldwide weekview is also a big plus.

Another vote for timecopy. I use it even though I have Worldmate. I have Worldmate set to adjust my PC to atomic time and Timecopy to sync my Clie with my PC. Timecopy gives me a record of the amount of drift in my Clie. I started this with an earlier version of Worldmate that would screw up my Clie time by one hour when I set it atomic sync my Clie. Timecopy is also $24.95 cheaper than Worldmate, unless you need other features of Worldmate.

For years I have used Sync Time(not free) works well and also has very small footprint in RAM. It will tell me if any correction was made if I tap on the app's Icon. Normally I don't care. On the desktop I use NIST time from the US government and it is free. Windows XP does update the time, but not as often as I would like it to. I only mention that there are alternatives, if interested.

Larry, is that program SyncTime compatible with OS 5? Palmgear does not list it as compatible with OS 5.

TimeCopy!

It's one of those apps that you just set and forget.

It's free, stable, works well, and is OS 5 friendly!

ok..does the PC app work with Atomic Clock Sync? I use that for my desktop to keep me synched with the atomic clock.

What I use in conjunction with TimeCopy for the Palm is DS Clock -absolutely fine and absolutely free. It has many features, a small geographical and RAM footprint, and does the job it needs to do. On sync, I just have TimeCopy upload my atomic clock synced desktop time to my Clie. Works seamlessly, invisibly, and faultlessly!

If you have an app that keeps your desktop accurate, then your PDA should stay accurate, too. Not sure if that's what you asked.

This is exactly what I meant. I just installed this app and it does work beautifully! Thanks to everyone for your suggestions.

The new version of SMBmate also syncs your Palm's clock with your server's clock.

PInstall does too. Even though it's really a desktop program for quick install of PDA apps. Nice extra feature on a cool free program though...
