I sent in a crash report yesterday, for 4.0. Just got an email from megasoft apologizing, and asking me to download the updated version from their site. About 6 hour turnaround!

You beat me to the punch mikeo. I stumbled over version 4.01 after going to the Megasoft2000 to look at the updated games/utilities. The way that ML4 was "rushed" (what was it over a year or so?) out to pacify those awaiting the real thing I will not be surprised to see a 4.1 version in the near future.

Thanks for the tip.
Wonder why they haven't updated Booty or Nebulus yet.

I wrote to them about the crashes and received the 4.0.1 e-mail. Guess what? It still crashes when first run. And they pulled the icons from their web site. So, it's still buggy. Still without features from ML3 (archive). Still nothing really new, besides backgrounds and HR+ support (not useful to me).

I did notice they pulled the icons. Maybe they should have let the beta testers try them first:rolleyes:

I have installed 4.01 on a T615, NX60 and a Palm TT. So far it runs just fine on all of them.
Full featured and (IMHO) a sensible simple layout. This is where I will stay until something better comes along. And by something better, I don't mean any of the current launchers with the possible exception of a much enhanced version of LauncherX. None of the others do anything for me.

The icons work fine for me also. Maybe there were some copyright issues or something.
I'll bite, off to DL again, hope for the best...

Has anyone noticed that TealPoint software icons do not display correctly? TealDoc, TealInfo, TealMaster and TealScript icons are large, monochrome and chopped off on the bottom. They look fine in the standard launcher.

I have TealAuto on my Clie T615C and I changed the MegaLauncher 4.0 skin to be 16 bit color instead of 8 bit and the only icon that didn't display properly was the TealAuto icon. Since ML 3.22 always detected my device as 8 bit color I just changed it back. Plus, I downloaded the background pictures that I want as 8 bit so it works better for me that way.

Ok, I downloaded and havn't been able to crash my T665, so I guess the Crash issue is nolonger.
A few observations:
Anyone notice the Power Off/Brightness/Up Arrow icons are not very sharp (a lot of BLUE bleeding far over the images).
Background Image, did I miss something? It appears we have no way of making our own BG image. I made a couple in PhotoShop while playing with a beta, but it's a real pain as the BG datafile contains two parts, it's a pain to align the images.
I do like the view (simple n clean) when I select native icons/small text everwhere/Eight Tabs/Transp/minimize gadget bar.
Skins, not understanding why MegaSoft would release an application that states Skin/BG/Icon support and provide none? This doesn't make for a great first impression.

These are just a few of my observations, all in all MegaSoft2000 has some of the Greatest Applications out there.

Someone on this board made a background earlier for 4.0. Give me your e-mail and I'll send it. It is quite nice. Better than the ones on their site.

That's the one that I am using ( even on my TT 'cause it looks really good).

I've noticed that if I try to launch X-Hack from ML 4.01 when I'm in 320x480 mode, it launches and then comes right back to ML. If I do it from 320X320 mode, it works fine...any ideas?
