No, Kinoma will NOT play MQV.

Get Apple Quicktime Pro, you can then convert the MQVs to AVI or MPEG and then use Kinoma Producer to convert the AVI/MPEG to their format.

did u know u can import avi and mpg into the clie without converting them in kinoma producer, I just use pic gear lite just do the same as u would for adding a photo. This duz only work with sum mpgs and avi's i think its dependant on the codec.
do u know any more short cuts

You must have an OS4 Clie, for my NX70V I use the image converter to do that.

You can use it for free to convert MPEGs and AVIs into generic files so pic gear lite should work with all of them. (getting rid of exotic codecs and compression)
