I should get by FedEx today a 1G MS and I wonder if anyone can point me to where I should look as to how to set up the folders on it properly. Will the UX50 somehow create the folders (pics, mpegs, mp3, apps) I need or do I have to do that?
Any help will be welcomed.

If you use Data Export to transfer files to your MS, it should pretty much create the proper directories for you.
Anyway, here is a list of some the directory that's automatically or manually created if necessary:
/DCIM/100MSDCF for pictures taken by Clie
/MSSONY/MOML0001 for mpeg movie
/Palm/Launcher for Palm applications
/Palm/Programs/MMFlash for flash .swf files
/Palm/Programs/MSAUDIO for MP3 files
/Palm/Programs/MSFILES for some Palm docs
/Palm/Programs/MSSOUND for Clie recorder wav files
Anyone care to add more to the list? Correct me if I am wrong.
Though I don't personally own UX50 myself, but CLIEs usually makes folders within the MS automatically once you insert & started to use it with its' specific internal programs.
Folders such as:
/DCIM/101MSDCF/
Contains *.jpg picture files. Take a snapshot of still picture & this folder will be created automatically.
/MQ_ROOT/100MQV01/
stores *.MQV video files & also generates itself once you first use your video capture function. You can also use CLIE's software ImageConverter to create your custom video clips & store them here.
MSSONY/MOML0001/
You can also create this folder yourself, & enables you to store regular mpeg-1 movie files. Usually with a file name as "MOV00001.MPG" (File size will be much bigger, but it might be handy if you also use a Sony CyberShot Digital Camera to take video Clips.)
/PALM/PROGRAMS/MMFlash/
stores *.swf flash files & you have to create this folder yourself if I have not mistaken. Then you can put some flash files inside this folder then play them with FlashPlayer.
/PALM/PROGRAMS/MSAUDIO/
This is a folder you have to creat yourself as well, then hotsync all your MP3 songs here to playback with AudioPlayer. :p
/PALM/Launcher
Basically this folder will most likely be there already, you can store many types of 3rd party applications in this folder & use it on your CLIE without taking up the internal RAM space. Applications such as games... etc.
Hope this helps. :D

you don't really have to create an ms audio folder under palm/programs/. just go into audio player and tap on the ms it automatically creates the folder for you.

If it's like the other Clies, a listing of all Sony created folders is in the CD Applcation Manual and may also be copied to the PC's hard drive.
