How does Movieplayer work?

-I have tried everything for this. I can not get movieplayer to play .MQV files. I have the converted Bladerunner movie from Mr.Spic(thank you). I place it on the memorystick in MQ_ROOT / 100MQV01  and rename it MOV00001.MQV. It should work, right?

-Please help.

Does it even show up in Movie Player?

It shows up as ??? file size: ???
When I try to play it, I get this error: 'Cannot play the selected movie. This format might not be supported.'

But it is in .MQV !
The movies I shoot with the NX work fine, and they appear as the same .MQV type and are in the same folder!

Has anyone else been able to run Mr.Spic's NX videos from his ClieFlix thread?

What was its complete filename prior to the name change?

i had the same problem with his files. what worked for me was installing an app called nx movie aide. among other things, it lets you ignore the ridiculous naming conventions, and name a file whatever you like. aim or email me and i'll get you the file.
