Will Best Buy still trade NR for NX?

I have the following problems with my NR since i bought it during the summer.
_____Creaking Hinge
_____MS problem
_____Less than a dozen dead or stuck pixels

Thats all I can think of. I have several questions that I hope everyone can Awnser.

1.Will they let me trade or will they make me send it in?
2. Is there anything specific I should say that would nudge the whole thing in my favor?
3. If i am allowed to trade for the NX, Will they want to have all of the original stuff that came with my NR?
4. Does BestBuy even still do trade ins?
5. Has anyone here delt with Bestybuy? What was your experience?
6. and last but not least, If they did make you send it in, how long did it take to get it back?

I tried to go back to best buy and they said I could only get $400 store credit towards an "upgrade" because at that time $400 was the last price the NR70v sold at. This was when they were still selling NR70vs with the NX70s, so I didn't get a chance to go back when they had sold out of NR70vs. My NR70v problems are getting worse and worse, but I really don't want to use my upgrade or fix on an NX70 because of the CF hump.

In all seriousness I really just want Best Buy to fix all my NR problems so I can keep it. But I can't afford the wait, so I guess for now im waiting for a T series with virtual graffiti. =/

Best Buy exchanged my NR for an NX 2-3 weeks ago. My battery was getting really bad on my NR. At first they said they would order a replacement, and I said fine, but then when they went to check on it, they came back and said that they couldn't do that and I would just have to go pick out a different model. I was like, awww, shucks. So, I went and picked out the NX.

yOyOYoo, I didn't want the CF hump either, but I NEVER notice it when holding the device, and I barely notice it in my pocket. I wouldn't that be the deal breaker; there are some real nice upgrades with the NX. I'd still rather have it without the CF, since I don't use it, but it's not that bad.

maybe i'll go back one of these days... aww man I just paid for the vaja ivolution NR case on cliesource classifieds too


we'll i'll see what sony has in their bag over the next month or so. I really like the NR70v's size, guess I have to go play with an NX70 again to see if I notice the CF hump. Just a thought, could the CF hump be used to store memory sticks? LIke if i lined the interior with neoprene or something, would it fit?

It's a gape in the back of the NX that only works with wi-fi cards.

My problem, is that if and when my NR becomes troublesome, I'll only be able to get store credit since Good Guys stopped carrying PDAs.
