I will be getting a brando case for my NX80 soon however it's kinda inconvenient to be carrying the Nx80 in the case. What do you do to get around this?

Well, I'll be getting an NX70v on tuesday, and I don't plan on getting a case. It's such a beautiful device. I think putting it in a case will really take away from it's nice looks. I don't know what the Brando case looks like though, but I've seen a few and haven't seen anything that I thought looked particularly cool. I also have an Ipod and I did get a case for that since the Ipod will scratch and dent pretty easily, but sometimes I really just want to take it out cause in the end, it seems a bit pointless to have such a cool looking device in a case that takes away it's nice looks. The NX's seem to have a decent finish though, nothing like the delicacy of the Ipod. The only thing I'm worried about is how much dirt it's gonna be picking up. I don't know why, but the models at my local Best Buy and Circuit City both were pretty dirty for some reason. It looks like it's dirt just picked up from sitting there because you can't even pick up to hold the PDA at Best Buy. If I had asked an employee to release it from the awkard metals plates it was in I probably could of played with it, but Circuit City just has them tied down so you can actually use it. On a side note though, the NX80v had the screen broken off and they were selling the NX70 for 450!!! You would think Best Buy would have a decent price on it.

I don't use a case, mainly because there aren't many available for the NX80V that I like. So right now, I use a screen protector and my pocket to carry my NX around.

I'm using a soft sunglass bag (like a pouch for oakley sunglasses) and it gives it pretty good protection when I put it in my pocket, and it also is great for cleaning the screen.

In the Casetechworks (http://www.casetechworks.com) case with belt clip. I just wear it on the left hand side (cell phone is in a holster on the right side) nice, secure, and always around. Before the case, I used the wrist strap to carry it.
Case is much better tho' :D

I use a vaja case for my nx60 sweet ivolution case that cost a bit, but worth every single cent!:D To carry that, I use a oakley sandbag to transport that with the headphones, memory sticks, and bluetooth stick just in case I have to wait somewhere. Also protects the clie in case it rains! I am in the "urban jungle" every now and then, and putting my clie in my pocket let it be my jacket or pants pocket doesnt look to slick when I have a nice suit on. So put on my oakley sandbag and I am ready to take on the world. Let me tell you, this save my a$$ when the blackout happened last month. I was in a subway when the power went out and was stuck in th subway for about 2hrs! The bag helped out to put my jacket in (at that time I cared less about the wrinkles, there's drycleaning for this very reason).
Well to keep it short, that's what i use to carry my clie:p .

I use a Covertec NR case (It doesn't have the CF hole, which since I don't use the WIFI card, I don't need) and carry it and all my other junque in a Healthy Back Bag...which is kindof a one shouldered back pack.

I bought the Sony Case for my NX73V. It works nice cuz I have to wear my physicians coat and that had pockets just the right size for the leather case with the wireless card too.

When did you order and receive your Casetechworks case?
I order and got the run around for 2 weeks before being told they don't make the NX80 case w/belt clip, anymore!
I ended up getting the ugly but really functional Nite Ize case, but I still need a leather case.

I use a Crumpler PDA bag for my NX80. The NX80 fits perfectly inside, good protection, good looking, attach to belt, easy to take NX80 out of the bag to take a snap shot. Even has space for my CF card!

Naked, gun metal NX70v, each corner scratched but not badly, no screen protector or scratches, costant installed wifi, acquired in Nov 02, coming up to its first birthday (tbrb NX80v).
Worn in front pocket shirt or jeans (rare), dropped four times, always half body height, one lost stylus. Recommend always getting the GM version. Used heavily (see web site for articles written on system).

I have a covertec leather case for my NX60. It is nice, but the Clie is exposed on the sides which has not been a problem.
On a similar note, I also just received the KB100 keyboard and that comes with a nice soft fabric tie bag. It is really nice and inconspicuous and seems to do the job rather well.

Mine's always bare in my front pants pocket. With my Brando screen protector I don't even mind pocketing it in tablet mode when I'm grocery shopping and hitting the list often. I never carry it in my shirt pocket though. My T615 shot out of there several times and while the damage was minimal I'm not taking any chances with my NX!

Ok you got a point for having a screen protector.
Question here if you don't mind:
After putting on the protector, do you feel that the screen colour look like faded off or not as clear as before?
Is brando good enough for that?

I use a RoadWired APS (Advanced Protection System) case that I got from E-Bags for my NX-73V. Fits very nice, and has the room to carry the regular stylus that I prefer. (BTW, who was the idiot that thought up a retractable stylus????) I have carried it through my T-665, and TG-50 incarnations.

It's been naked since I got it a few of weeks ago. When I was sure I would keep it (my NX80V), I ordered a PDAir case from Brando. It arrived last weekend and I AM IMPRESSED! Very nice case! I went with the book style. I also have a Covertec case on the way from a CS member who outgrew it. It's flip type, so I can try both styles for comfort.
Whether in case or not, I carry it in my front (left) pocket.

wow! your front pocket is so big. Maybe you can try to put NZ90 in it. NZ90 had broke two of my pants before I get NX80.

My Bellagio for NX70 is still the best! Nevermind about the silly badge and bulkiness since it offers some shock protection.
My only concern is whether there are any Bellagio-like cases out there that can hold an additional pen....I have a Sony stylus-pen BTW.

In my pants pocket, in my shirt pocket, in my coat pocket or in my briefcase. Seems to do ok, but it's starting to get a little worn. Over 42,000 miles of travel.

I'm picking up my Innopocket metal hard case in 20 minutes! I anticipate it to solve all of my life's problems, just like every other accessory I buy for my various technologies.
Or, perhaps it will just solve the problem of potentially dropping my Clie. We'll see.

Also, the main reason I'm buying the Innopocket is because I've noticed that the the Clie gets dirty fast, and I'm tired of licking my fingers and wiping away dirt.
So, I full expect the case to cover-up the outer shell of the Clie, protecting it from dirty smudges.

YTTAN, sorry for the late post...hurricane trouble! Anyway, yes the Brando screen protector "softens" the display colors. It's a definite compromise. I don't like that aspect of the Brando protector but for me the benefits of no scratches, no finger prints, and reflection-free viewing are worth the slightly milky display. I've tried some of the crystal clear protectors but they seemed to make every finger print jump out at me!

NX70 Naked in my pocket, some of the time with the screen facing out, no scratch.
I use the Nite Ize belt case, which is perfect because of all of the little pockets it comes with. The MP3 remote is clipped in front, while its cable is tucked away at the top of the case. The remote is always attached to the headphones, which are tucked away in another pocket. The remote plug, which attaches to the Clie itself, is stuffed into another pocket facing the back. If I want to listen to MP3s, I don't even have to remove the clie from the case. I just untuck the remote plug and plug it in (the socket in the Clie is just on top of the pocket), pull out the headphones, and wala! The controller is right where I need it.
I never unwind the MP3 remote cable. Instead, I bought Sony earplugs with a longer cable, so I only have to deal with the hassle of replacing one cable into the appropriate pocket when I'm done listening.
It looks a bit rugged, and I sometimes get a long stare from security guards when I walk into malls or airports (maybe they think I have a bomb remote on my belt), but I love the case! I even keep another memory stick somewhere in one of the other pockets.

For the most part, I carry my NX80 naked in my back pocket. For times when I want to chuck it in my laptop bag, I use the Sony PEGA-CA80 mesh case. It fits the NX80 like a glove, offers decent all-around protection, and has an elastic pouch on the front that can hold my WL100 and 512MB SanDisk CF card.
