Was reading responses to a review someone made on a different board and supposedly, the nx80 has a minor screen problem that is too sensitive to touch, so when you tap on it, the screen distorts(like a laptop) and that sometimes the keyboard come "too flat". I did a search for flaws but I couldn't come up with any on this board, is this maybe something that is just isolated to the nx80 model, or to the first few made? Thanks for reading.

think it all boils down to individual views. For me, personally, I can type with the keyboard with no problems. Some users dont like it.

Some people were saying that some of the keyboards were coming out "too flat". Like if you exchanged it, you could get a better keyboard that had a more "tactile" feel. It's more about inconsistencies in manufacturing than personal preference(although some probably won't like the keyboard anyways).

Initially, when the NX80 was released in Japan, there were serious screen sensitivity problems that forced what amounted to a "silent" recall. The units shipped to the US seem to be "fixed," though the screens do require a bit more "force" to register inputs than previous NXs and NRs.
As far as the keyboards go, some NX80 keyboards are more "flush" with the body and lack decent tactile feel. This is something that I've actually seen, so if you're buying yours from a brick and mortar store, see if you can take it out of the box and check it first.
For my part, the screen is "harder" than my my old NR, but it never fails to register an input, so I consider this a non-issue. As for my keyboard, I find it vastly superior to the membrane keyboard on my old NR, and it has quite decent tactile feel (i.e. it has raised buttons that "click").

PS - The "distortion" isn't a problem at all.

so without checking a few others its hard to tell if my keyboard is "bad" or if i just dont like it. but typing a little faster always results in pressing two keys. i doubt its my fingers, they work well enough to not even take out the stylus when using graffiti or decuma.
btw. sometimes i get the distortions too when i use the stylus (lucas arts games have too tiny objects *g*), but its hard to tell if its a certain area on the display or slightly too much pressure. though its not half as bad as it sounds, the gui reaction when you tap something is far more visible ,-)
makes me wish they would bring out a version without the cam and keyboard. imagine it the size of just the display and a little less thick as the keys are missing and it would be one piece.
