Yes, use MS Import on your Clie in concert with the desktop PC's file manager(Windows Explorer). If you have an NX73 or NX80, it's called Data Import.

You can rename the file from MQV to MOV and use QuickTime 6.x to watch it. Also you can create a new MQV file association for QuickTime and renaming in the future will be unnecessary!

I wish it was that simple, but the movie files are in .mai format... i don't know what to do... i'm really going crazy...

You'r watching in the wrong folder, the mai files are the thumbnails of the videos you have... the videos are in the \MQ_ROOT\100MQV01 folder, and they are the mqv files.

You just have to copy them to your computer, and you'll see them with quicktime.

good luck

Right click on the file, select "open with." Select quicktime or browse to the quicktime program in the my programs folder.

i'll just assume he's perfectly capable of opening any file with quicktime and the problem is, that quicktime just doesnt like the format. i read about qt6 in connection with those files so maybe a simple update would help.
