I haven't been able to get data export to work. I think it might be that when I try to install it from the CD, I get a message that my "clie scsi driver" install failed. (I also get another message that the data export install succeeded, by the way, but I assume the failure message supercedes the success message....) I went to the sonystlye site to look for updated drivers, but no luck.

Anybody else with this problem? Any known fix?

I am running XP professional, SP1.

You'll have to remove ALL traces of any Clie SCSI driver, before you can install it now. There is one uninstall folder in the Windows folder that has to be removed. It's not easily found or marked for recognition. I do not remember any name as it was just scrambled characters. Once that folder was removed, then the install worked. You maybe able to find it, if you search back. It was in the past month or so for either the NX or NZ. One of the dialogue boxes from the member who needed help and posted a screen shot, gave us the clue!

The drivers you want are on your UX CD under the \Drivers\SCSI\WinXP directory.

They are called Clut0145.inf and Clut0146.inf.

You can go to Control Panel, and click on System to get a dialog with all your current drivers on it. Pick the "Hardware" tab, and then click on the Device Manager button.

Your best bet is to remove, and reinstall -- but you could also try the "Upgrade Driver" option from the device manager driver list. (right click the driver for list of choices)

Make sure to pick the "Specify Driver Location" instead of "Search Computer" when you're loading the driver. It might be finding some older memorystick driver on your system. Give it the full path to the drivers on the UX setup disk.
