What do you think...should I get 2 64 mb memory sticks or 1 128 mb? Having 2 64's would allow for a back-up stick in case of a failure but I am not sure what route I should take. Suggestions? Thanks!

The bigger the better. I went for 256MB MS Sellect. Data files on side A and 3-hours MP3 music on side B.

So my T615C would allow me to partition the 128 into 2 64's then or?

No. The 256MB MS Select has 2 of 128MB chips in one housing with a switch in the back for side A and B. Other MSs just have one chip.

I have one 128MB stick because I thought the bigger the better. But now I am finding I would like to have a second stick, like you suggested, purely for backup purposes. So I might pick up a small stick of 16 or 32MB which would suit my backup needs well.

I have a 16mb stick that I use for backup, and a 128mb stick that I use for evrything else. If you are not going to use MP3s then you might be able to get away with a 64mb stick for a while.

However, they are easy to fill up, and relatively cheap, so I would go with a 128mb stick.

I am using the 128 x2. I think having two sides or two sticks is better then one big one. For me 128 is a good size as I can carry MS office files on it or hold like 30 songs.

I would not bother with two 64Mb sticks. It's a waste of space!
You can easily backup the entire MS onto your PC using MSImport (just drag and drop the entire directory!).

If you have a T series (given where this thread appears) - go for a 128Mb or 2x128Mb MS. (Not two MS of 128Mb each).

I too was looking for a 16 or 32 to use for backup, but I ended up with a 128x2 because it was so much more bang-for-the-buck. I think I dropped about $60 which was cheaper than the 128! Go figure...
In the case of memory, bigger is always better!
