I recently converted the divx copy of Fast and Furious to play on my nx80. Here are the steps I followed:

1. I used VirtualDub to extract the sound from the movie (into a .WAV file).

2. I then used TMPEGEnc to extract the video and combine it with the .WAV file. This created a MPEG file.

3. I finally used Image Converter to convert the MPEG movie into a .MQV file (clie movie format). This was stored on my 1 GB Sandisk CF card (it was around 300 Mb in size).

Here's what I got:

a. A movie that consists of four files (parts). I wonder why? The original MPEG file was just one of around 1 GB in size.

b. The video quality was good. However, there was a sync problem with the audio (speech did not correspond to lip movement).

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, or does someone perhaps know about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ciao.

Try breaking up the the original MPEG into smaller chunks, say 4 chapters per chunk, then use IC to convert it. Also, make sure you have the "sync audio" box checked.

This would have been more suited for the "Video" forum.

You will not be able to fit the whole movie on a 64 MB memory stick. You won't even come close.:(

Perhaps if you leave out the video, just audio may fit in 64MB! Just kidding.

Yeah. the movie definitely won't fit on a 64 meg stick. Come to think of it, I don't even think the audio will. Why don't you get a biger memory stick, Ezikial? Something like 256 mb? What do you use your clie for?

Wow Word, are you serious about me sending the movie to you?

I use it for small games and quick notes/audio recording, and the WiFi, but like i said before, if you can send me the first street race part i would greatly apreciate it. Mustangdude@comcast.net (I also have a 64 MB CF and a 32 MB Mem stick... i dont really need that much space though if i can find a 256 cheap i would buy it)

Ezikial,
I have no idea how to send that part to you. My email only lets me send an attachment of a maximum size of 2 mb. Sorry...

Ciao.
