Gang:

Been agonizing over chat kind / brand case to get for my 615. Well, here is an FYI for those interested.

For my Palm Vx, I purchased the Palm-brand leather zip-around case. Is is made of high quality leather and contains a slot for a few business cards. Anyway, just for kicks decided to see how my 615 would fit into the case. Was a little sceptical as the Palm case has a convex bottom to match the convex shape of the Vx.

Surprise surprise! The 615 fits VERY NICELY. Very snug and best of all, I no longer need to worry about having damn stylus sliding out from a case with cutouts for the stylus well. The Palm case is pretty well padded, has a slim profile and looks pretty cool [this was why I bought it for my Vx in the first place]. I can even keep the default Sony Clie flip cover in place while the unit is in the case as added protection for the screen.

Yeah, only prob is that the 615 is not ANCHORED into the case. However, because the case is fully-zip around, the 615 sits quite nicely into the bottom half of the case. But just for added security when using the Clie in the case, I did add a small strip of velcro to hold the unit firmly to the case. I know that some folks don't like using velcro, though I confess I have no idea why.

just a tip...
peace!

For what it's worth... Scotch Clear Mounting Squares (removable) work very well for this kind of thing and have less bulk than velcro. After a while they need to be replaced, but they're pretty cheap, will hold the Clie in your case, and won't add any noticeable bulk.
