Here's my impression. This device is very doable, but we won't see this in 2005. I don't feel that a radical form factor change like that will happen that soon. the device is a good idea, but I think we will slowly see handhelds change from there current form, to something similar to that. But it will take a number of years to slowly adapt to a few changes here and there. (We already are seeing more and more buttons being placed on the sides of the devices.)
Also, the eye-tracking technology probably isn't quite ready enough to be added to a device this small. And honestly, I don't think consumers would be ready to operate a device that way.
2015, I wouldn't be suprised to see this though. One thing I think would different if this was released in 2015 is the screen resolution. In 12 years, I think we will be seeing something more like 960x640 or at least 640x480 screens on Palm handhelds.
I think it's a great design overall. I always love to see peoples vision of the future, especially when they have put a lot of thought into it.

I'm left-handed and the first thing I did is to read the part about the handle.  It says that the battery casing on the side is interchangable (right can go to left and vice versa).

about left hand grip .. i think when i hold my clie .. i can either use left and right hand ..

i'm right hand user ..

i think we can get something close to this device pretty soon .. but not all the advance stuff like digital driver license, eyes tracking system, size, etc ..

digital money card .. japanese nz90 supported that ..
