Is there a hi-res assist program for clie? I know previous models have had a hi-res assist built in, but this one does not...this means I cannot play stuff like Galax, lemonade tycoon, and some other games I had for my palm m105. Is there any kind of program I can get for this?

The hardware support for the compatibility mode that previos Clie's had isn't built into the NX line, probably because of the change in processor. Since there's no compatibility mode, there's no software to select when to run in compatibility mode.

Right, i realize that the compatibility isn't built into the OS for the NX...what i'm wondering is is there a 3rd party app that will do the same thing? i.e., make 160x160 display at 320x320?

At this point, you'll have to make do with games that are OS5 compatable. Writing to the authors of programs that are not is probably a good idea too . . . so they know people want the games for OS5.
