How many of you have TG50 and SonyEricsson T610?

And what do you do with those things?

So far I only use them for BT SMS, File transfer for pics taken with T610.
Still have no idea how to sync the T610's phonebook and TG50's address book....

Well, I would like to know how to sync both addressbook too

I am a registered user but have forgotten my password and am yet to receive my new one. Anyway, i have a T616 which is identical to the T610. The way i synced the TG50 address book with the phone is to go into the address app on the TG50, go to the category you want to send to the phone and go to the menu. Hit send category. This may not be what you guys are talking about as far as "syncing" your address book, but it is a great way to get contacts onto the phone without having to input them manually.

As far as BT things that i use my TG50 for, i pretty much use it for dialing, and SMS'ing. I would use it for web browsing, but AT&T's data rates are a bit steep. For dialing i am using Contacts Pro 3.0. You can select and dial via BT with just the jog dial, nice. I keep all my personal contacts on the phone and everything else on my TG50.

Hey I didn't know I can dial from my Clie!! Nice!
Now the only thing my TG can't do is to receive a call from my T610. :D

Regarding SMS, I activate the 'delivery receipt' in Clie's SMS app.
However I still couldn't receive the delivery report.
Any idea?
My best guess is it's because we are still using a generic phone driver which was not specifically created for T610. Is that right?

I am not seeing the "delivery receipt" option in the clie SMS app preferences. Also, there is a T610 specific palm driver. It can be found by downloading palm's phone link update. All you need is the driver.

btw. any news on TT communicator ? does it work with TG ?
btw do you know how to send sms directly from addressbook ?
on palmOne devices it does work but I can't make it work on my TG :-(

Thanks orol. I see it. I am using contacts pro 3.0 to dial from and you can SMS's with it also.

I have been using FunSMS and FunBook (http://www.fun4palm.de/english/funsms_index.htm) with my T610 and absolutely love it.

I thought funsms and phonelink didn't support the t610?

I have been browsing the net and copied my address book to my t610. sure beats entering them all in by hand. SMS is cool too. Anyone know the spped of internet surfing?
