A new "Wi-Fi on a chip", or even "Wi-Fi/cell/BT on a chip" with less power consumption! That's small enough to pack into a T/TG form factor, and also hopefully give acceptable Wi-Fi battery life.

Of course it can go into other CLIE's as well, but would be especially fitting here. Imagine if the next TG50 had Wi-Fi and BT built-in, same form factor! (with either bigger screen or keep keyboard, I vote for keyboard). Of course, more RAM too, 32 MB or 64 MB, I'd be happy with either.

Would you buy that for $399? I'd pre-order this instant and never look back...

Cost and design-wise, it seems that should actually be doable in about half a year or so (depending on availability of the wireless chip.) Might not cost too much to develop, they could keep most of the components and overall design.

Well If it was a Wi-fi/cell/BT Triband GSM/CDMA I would pay that and more. Don't know, maybe I would go for a bigger screen.
PQ.

Sure why not?

Halo, I use my clie for movies (flash movies that is) and games a lot of the time, so if I gave up the keyboard then buying a pda for me would just be an indulgence...

...I bought the TG for school work.

the best thing would be a clamshell with an acceptable camera (not like a .0000001 mp cam) with wifi and bluetooth, keyboard, all that stuff. a ux50 would be that but too expensive for me
