Movies on NX80

I on't have any documentation on how to do this. Could someone please tell me how?

Do what? Take movies or play them? or download them from the net?

I don't know the procedure for obtaining a movie and getting it on the NX80. Where doyou get the movies, on line on from your DVD player on tyour PC? I am hoping that someone will tell me the steps. Thanks.

I'm kinda new here myself and so please be aware that there might be other better ways to do this.

Well, You can rip DVD's onto your CLIE using DVD Rippers software (I don't think any are provided with the CLIE.) These will most probably convert DVD to mpeg1 or 4. From there use IMage converter to convert it to MQV format and just paste it to required directory ie MQ_ROOT\100MQV01. Note the file name must be of the order MOV00018 or 00017 etc. When I named it with alpha numerics, it did not work.

I'm told you can dirsctly take Quicktime 6 mov files rename them to mqv and they will play on the CLIE. For any other Quicktime versions use Image converter

Hope this answers your question. I didn't know any of this either but read the manuals (both paper, HTML and PDf). They help!!!!

Lastly I have an Nx80v. Things might be different for others, but this will be the basic procedure
