I downloaded some status skins and grafitti skins from the silkskin section. I cannot see them. What program do I need to utilize these skins?

You don't need anything, just install and do a soft reset.
To delete them you need to do a warm reset and delete the files.

Is a warm reset and hard reset the same thing?

To perform a warm reset, hold the Up button, hit the reset like before, then release the Up button. This will very quickly reset the Clie bypassing loading anything up. One thing you will notice is the Virtual Graffiti area doesn't load. To get to the launcher, hit Ctrl+H on the keyboard. Go to Clie Files and delete the skin file. Then do a regular soft reset to restore the Clie back to normal.

When doing it this way, which skin will be used if you have more than 1? Do you have to rename the custom one to be the same as the native/default?

I believe you should only have one alternate skin in your internal memory at once. When you do the soft reset, the alternate skin (either status bar or VG) will load. To be honest, I'm not sure what if anything would happen if more than one skin were loaded when the soft reset is performed. Good Luck.

Then it sounds like something like Photoskin is the safe way to go - either that, or use Clie_PalmSim to see what they look lke first.

Photoskin is definitely the easiest way. I believe that if you have more than one skin in internal memory, the first one in alphabetical order is the one loaded.
