Havnt seen an UX in person, but i finally figured out why Sony put such wide borders around the screen instead of just making the screen bigger.

Due to the landscape orientation of the UX, you cant really hold it like a "traditional" PDA. Hence, the borders on the sides allow you to rest your thumb/s to securely hold the UX in tablet mode without touching the digitizer.

I mean who actually likes grubby finger prints on their screen???

1: the ux in its natural element ;)

2: scroll whell right handed (reading a document/website?)

3: scroll and keyboard access right handed

4: scroll wheel left handed (wrist strap on cause my left hand is weaker)

5: holding it horozontal to my face on the train reading a book
