I have a question about making skins...

Hi, I'd like to make a Sony CLIE Launcher skin using SkinMaker. I've made part of the skin already, but I was wondering what do I save it as? I know the filename, but I have no idea about things such as bit depth, image type, file size, etc :confused: . Could anyone please help me out by telling me what exactly do I need to do to save skin so that it looks the same on the CLIE Launcher as it does in image editing? Thanks ;) ?

open in skinmaker folder the folder edit and use your favorite paintprogram to paint over exsisting images. when this is done use skinmake.exe to compile the skin. for a little time i've seen a skinmaker with full preview of the skins, but i dont know where? can anyone help?
