Here is an exert from this article:

"Sony Clie PEG-T665C

Palm OS 5, 16MB of internal memory, 2.7-by-2-inch active screen area, Secure Digital card slot, 240-by-320-pixel resolution, removable lithium ion battery, 4.9 ounces. One-year parts and labor warranty, toll-free support for 24 hours daily."

pc world also screwed up on the specs of the upcoming sj33... said it was 7.8 oz!! that's the weight of the nx clies.

very simple, stupid editorial errors... don't think i'll be trusting them again.

Ha! PCWORLD.COM "Technology Advice You Can Trust"

They don't understand how to load normal MP3 files onto a blue memorystick either. I've never been to this site before, but I don't think I'll be going back either.

The review also mentions it was an update of the T415, but it wasn't, it was an update of the T615. Additonally it mentions it runs Palm OS 5 and then mentions it has 320x320 resolution which is higher than average. If it were running Palm OS 5 (which of course it is not) then 320x320 resolution would be standard.

Finally, I got a reply from Mick Lockey, the author of the quoted above article:

"Thanks for taking the time to write to us and pointing out the error.
Please allow me to clarify the points you bring up.

The information you pulled is from the "Buying Info" section of the review.
I apologize for any confusion this may have caused; that portion of the
review has been sent to the appropriate person to correct, as is my
statement regarding the operating system, which as you state is Palm OS 4.1
and not Palm OS 5. The error occured as a result of a database glitch.
You're right however; we should have caught the error, so my apologies
again for the mistake.

Here is the information as it will appear once the correction is on the Web
site:

Palm OS 4.1, 16MB of internal memory, 2-by-2-inch active screen area,
Memory Stick media slot, 320 by 320 pixel resolution, lithium ion battery,
4.9 ounces. One year parts and labor warranty, toll-free support for 24
hours daily. $350"

You can't blame them for this; it was a screw up on Sony's part. Its press release in Japan actually said the SJ33 weighed 7.8 ounces. They also got the size wrong and said it came with some apps it really doesn't.

The actual product page on Sony site was correct, but the press release was wrong.

The price should be $300.
