I have seen many conflicting comments regarding the Beiks BDicty Medical Dictionary. Some like it, and some feels that it's lacking. My question is, do you feel that this dictionary is sufficient for a layman? I am not in the medical field, but I do feel I need to have a medical dictionary on my PDA. I am especially interested in terms that would apply to pediatrics. Do you think that BDicty's offering might work for me?

I use BDicty's Medical dictionary. It's adequate for most of my needs as a paramedic, and it should suffice for a layperson. The price seems good. And I think it's nice to be able to access multiple dictionaries in similar formats with a single reader, too.

Thanks for the info, gcliburn. I am going to give it a try, and will report my "layman's" findings back to everyone.
